Stop Rabbit Abuse! Human Cosmetics causes serious problems

Did you know you could be supporting rabbit abuse? L'Oréal, Maybelline, and AVON are just 3 brands who test on rabbits. There are more than 170,000 rabbits who will be killed just in 2021 for makeup! If we all stay silent, more innocent bunnies will go into these companies and never come out.

In the Laboratory, rabbits don't get names just numbers. The people who use on them think of them as objects- not animals with feelings. Experimenters use them in painful experimenters because they are small and reproduce quickly. These bunnies spend most of their lives in a small empty metal cage all alone for long periods at a time. They never get to see any sunlight or breathe even a little fresh air. All these poor animals can do is sit in their cages, scared and lonely and worries about the next time they will be taken out to be tested on. put yourself on their shoes for a min. so sad.


One example of a test is: They put them in a device that holds them down so they can’t move, then they drip chemicals into the bunnies'' eyes or spread them onto their skin. After that, the experimenters wait around and watch to see how long it will take for the chemicals to burn their eyes or the skin. They leave the chemicals on them for up to two weeks and don’t give any painkillers. They don't even attempt to make it stop hurting, but instead, they just take notes on what happens as the substance burns them and they scream in pain. During and after the tests, the rabbits feel terrible. Sometimes their skin bleeds and gets puffy. Other times, their insides hurt, the eyes swell up, or scabs form on their back. their eyes get cloudy, and they always hurt. Some of the rabbits have already gone blind because of the tests.

I am just a girl, 12 years old, and I just want every creature on this planet to be treated with respect. I don't want to offend anyone i Just one every creature to be happy. After they finished doing painful tests on the rabbits, they would probably be killed without ever getting to have a single moment of happiness. I don't want them to suffer anymore, and I don't want them to die—especially for something like soap, sunscreen, or shampoo.

Also, I do have a plan for when the time comes to bring up this subject. There are many alternatives to animal testing, and if these companies still have no choice but to keep testing, at least give these animals a painkiller and once a day let them get fresh air in a well built rabbit pen, with fresh fruit and veggies. Rabbits need exercise.

Today, most rabbits have nice homes, but there are many, many, many, rabbits who are still being tested on. Did you know that 18 percent of animals that are being tested on are rabbits? It isn't right. I have a rabbit at home and we make sure she is comfortable 24/7. It breaks my heart to write this and even know that humans like you and me continue to do this every day. Some people might think, "Why do I have to help? I have nothing to do with this?" Guess what? Our species are responsible for these problems. We can't leave them to grow and get worse. If Enough people sign this petition, Jessie will send this to the incorporators of Maybelline, L'Oréal and AVON and convince them this to change their ways. What fun is it to watch defenseless animals suffer. Please Help!
