There are more humane ways to deal with animal infestation.
Here is a "literal quote" from Poulin's
Control:
Once house mice take up residence indoors, virtually any techniques used to control house mice are effective, including baited and unbaited snap-traps, windup multi-catch mouse traps, glueboards, and anticoagulant rodenticides. Their inquisitive nature makes them easy to trap. Often times, a rodent infestation is underestimated, ensure to use a sufficient amount of devices for the job.
Another quote from Poulin's:
Third quote:
Control:
If you have a visible hanging nest then you can use a pressurized wasp spray or foam. Make sure this treatment is performed only at night or when it is almost dark. Make sure you wear proper safety equipment. They are not likely to exit the nest, but it is best to be prepared. You want to saturate the interior of the nest first, then, once you have done this follow up by saturating the entire exterior of the nest. Leave the nest for approximately 20 minutes before removing the nest. Make sure that before you remove the nest that there isn’t any further activity. When removing, take the same precautions as mentioned earlier. Be sure to remove the entire nest, including any pieces that fall to the ground during removal.
We need to encourage people to use more humane ways of dealing with rodent, gopher, squirrel, wasp populations, etc...
By sharing, we also create awareness about animal rights. Animals feel pain and there's no need to torture them with glue traps or to poison them with dangerous chemicals to get rid of them.
Last but not least... Does Poulin use "environmentally methods" when dealing with animal control? How do their methods affect our ecosystem?
Let's think beyond our immediate needs and let's start thinking about our future generations... OUR OWN children!!!
