Sharks have been on this planet for over 400 million years and are now on the verge of extinction, because of one cuisine... Shark Fin Soup.
Over 100 million Sharks are slaughtered per year for their fins.
Shark Finning is the inhumane practice that involved cutting off a shark's fins and throwing them back in the ocean STILL ALIVE to drown, bleed to death or be eaten alive by other animals.
Despite certain beleifs, Shark fin soup has NO nutritional value, has NO taste and contains high levels of mercury and other toxins.
Our ocean ecosystems are so fragile, we must help protect them and our future.
