Save 9 ,NS Dash 9 standard cab preservation

Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit this Petition page. I would like to raise this money to save just one Norfolk Southern standard cab Dash9 (C40-9) from rebuild.

The standard cab Dash9, though it may be viewed as modern, deserves a place in a museum. It represents a very unusual practice during which time Norfolk Southern Railway resisted the oncoming progress of "wide cab" style locomotives.

Today the railroad plans to convert every single unit to a wide cab locomotive. With enough money however, just one can be saved.
