Stop the protest at Robert E. Lee monument

The Department of General Services has received a request from Americans for Richmond Monument Preservation for a permit to hold an event at the Lee Monument, on Monument Avenue. After a person being killed, and many injured in charlottesville, there should not be a protest over this, and Richmond should remain hate-free. There was nothing passed about the removal of the monument. Therefore there should not be a protest over it. Stop Viloence now.
