We Want Rainbow and Trans Pride Crosswalks in Milwaukee!

LGBTQ individuals face an onslaught of discrimination in our society. They're often passed over for housing and jobs, discriminated against in medical care, and experience disproportionate rates of homicide and suicide.

Some cities, like San Francisco, have made the LGBTQ commnity feel more at home by creating permanent rainbow crosswalks on city streets.

As a Milwaukee resident and LGBTQ ally, I'd love to see such a public display of support for this marginalized community in my city!
