Demand to ban total ivory trade in England

The Government had pledged to end the Ivory trade in the UK, but this has not yet happened.
UK Customs are lacking in finding Ivory. At the moment pre 1947 Ivory is legal to sell, but this is very hard to monitor the actual age of Ivory, therefore illegal Ivory is still being brought into the UK. Roughly 96 elephants are killed EVERY DAY, approx. 400,000 elephants left in the wild, so with this estimated calculation in 4,166 days there will be no elephants left.
My goal : is to ban ALL ivory trade in the UK. Get the government to tighten border control.
I am an animal lover and hate to see people kill just because of their greed and selfishness.
