Create an Illinois Registry for People Convicted of Animal Abuse

Make it illegal for anyone convicted of animal abuse in Illinois to ever own another animal. People take animals for granted like they don't feel anything. Animals have feelings just as humans do. If a person can willingly and knowingly abuse, neglect or kill a pet, they are capable of hurting another human. Animals should not have to endure the anger, abuse or neglect of an ungrateful human. They need people to care enough to help and protect them- they deserve it. Please help animal advocates, volunteers and rescuers do all we can to protect animals.
