American idol: Raise the maximum age limit from 28 to 99 so we can gain more talent

Age limits on talent are nothing but garbage and imposing a maximum age limit in the 20s is a sin against God when it comes to someone wanting to sing and perform. Talent does NOT stop ate age 28. When Fox aired American Idol and Sherman Pore auditioned at the age of 64 thru some petition signatures, people adored his talent and thought that Idol doesn't need an upper age limit. If the maximum age limit of 28 does go up to 99, more people that are Sherman's age could try out!
