We are working hard to save the lives of hundreds of innocent animals per year. Bundaberg Pound is currently unable to release unclaimed furry friends to refuge centres, such as others like the wonderful team at RED COLLAR RESCUE. These animals get put to sleep, which is not only heart breaking when there are many foster carers willing, and able to offer them a temp home, until they find the furrrever home. It is costing tax payers a lot of money. Any which way, it is time we all stand together and protect the lives of "MAN BEST FRIEND". Our goal is 1000 people to sign this petition, we ask you help us reach this goal and exceed it.... Thanks to everyone participating... NOTE: An important add on I need to draw everyones attention to.... "council have still to pass a final decision on whether they will allow RCR to continue to rescue pound puppies or whether they will choose to put them to sleep".
Council are allowing Red Collar Rescue access to Red Collar animals until a permanent decision is made. Council however are NOT allowing other registered refuges access at this point in time. We need to make a stand for Red Collar Rescue, that they continue being able to rehome pound dogs, getting them off DEATH - ROW. Be the voice for all the innocent animals that just need a second chance.
