HELP END THE USE OF FUR TRAPS

YOUR CHILD,DOG,OR CAT COULD BE IN DANGER FROM FUR TRAPS!! HELP PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN AND PETS FROM TRAPS!!

Did you know that a trap can be set on any private land with permission of the landowner, NOT just on designated hunting lands? This means that there could be traps in any wooded area, no matter how close it is to houses. There could be a trap in the woods near your home right now!

By my signature on this petition, I hereby protest the use of traps for fur-bearing animals in Horry County. Further, I support making all traps for this purpose, no matter what size or material, illegal in South Carolina and Horry County.  I believe that these traps are a danger to children and pets, that they are unnecessary and should be made illegal under South Carolina and Horry County law as soon as possible.
