Please Urge Redding City Hall To Vote PG&E Back In!

When REU was voted in, (1980's), utilities were cheaper than what was offered by PG&E, at the time. Today, that's not the case. REU customers pay nearly twice what PG&E customers pay. And MY question, is: Why wouldn't a largely Republican Community such as Redding be interested in reducing the size of its local govt.? REU has been operating in the red for awhile, now, in spite of their enormous rates! Isn't that the kind of overhead Fiscal Conservatives call an "Unnecessary Albetross"? The X-# of people it employs are sorely needed elsewhere, in our cash-poor City Govt., & they can easily be re-trained to fill those other gaps. Please urge Redding City Hall to vote PG&E back in: if PG&E's rates don't remain competetive, they can always vote them back out again. In these turbulent financial times, it just makes ($) sense.
