The vast majority of restaurants have tested their employees, are abiding by all national guidelines, and have paid for all proper licenses. The recent ban on the sale of alcohol in sit-down restaurants has been yet another crippling blow to our already hard-hit businesses and the livelihoods of restaurant staff and owners.

Forecasts indicate that the restaurant industry in Kenya could potentially lose over 3 million jobs and sustain billions of shillings in losses if this continues on.
