Nova Scotia: Stop poisoning pigeons!

Pigeons are being poisoned in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, using Avitrol. It is not a humane way to deal with the birds; it attacks the nervous system and causes seizures. At least 11 pigeons have been found dead recently in Truro. A concerned citizen said it looked as if the bird was being "electrocuted" and suffered for at least half an hour.

Previously petitions were created for a library in Halifax--the poisoning of pigeons stopped because of the public's outrage.
