Say No to The Tottenham Pit Expansion

An application has been made by Brock Aggregates Inc. to amend their current approved site plan to reflect proposed increases in the extraction footprint above and below the water-table, a revised operational sequence to link the existing and proposed extraction areas, as well as, changes to the progressive and final rehabilitation prescription to include ecological plantings of trees and shrubs.
Petition Purpose:
There has been (2) public meetings, thanks to our local politicians that have allowed the local citizens to become informed of what is being proposed. We now understand our local representatives will be forwarding their objection to this expansion very soon. 
Numerous concerns regarding impact on ground water supply & quality have been raised. In addition air quality and property value impacts have also been expressed. 
We hope this petition site will provide the opportunity for all the local citizens to formally express our concerns and objection to this application.
