Adopt sanctuary model for all animal shelters in California

The current shelter system used is nothing more than a death camp for dogs and cats. We need to adopt the sanctuary model for all shelters in California. This will make animals as well as human adopters much more at ease and will lead to more adoptions. We need to find a better way than killing majority of animals that enter shelters. By signing this petition once again California will be taking the lead in compassion and caring for our animals. This will take to change the mindset of both government and citizens this is an important first step. Theven sanctuary model will lead to many more adoptions and happy families that adopt not shop!
