Gary Vaynerchuk is an investor, keynote speaker, best-selling author, wine expert and entrepreneur. However, all of his endeavors pale in comparison to his love for the New York Jets. His biggest life goal is to one day buy the New York Jets, his favorite team since he was five years old. Gary moved to New Jersey when he was 5 years old, and at the point, he couldn’t speak a lick of English. He remembers going outside one day and one of the boys from the neighborhood asked him what his favorite football team was. Not knowing any English Gary just shrugged, so the kid who asked the question, decided that Gary was going to be a New York Jets fan — and Gary complied. As a child living in New York, his mother stitched a New York Jets jersey for him because it was his first American tradition and his favorite team. His parents couldn’t afford to buy him a $30 football jersey. Gary told himself he would not only be able to buy a New York Jets jersey, but he would purchase the entire team! Gary deserves to buy the New York Jets and as a Jets fan, I firmly believe Gary can turn this team around!
