Help Eliminate Styrofoam Effects on Environment

I am petitioning to spread awareness about the harmful effects that Styrofoam has on our health as well as the environment.  Disposed Styrofoam is a hazardous, non biodegradable waste that acts as a greenhouse gas and contributes to the depletion of the ozone layer which affects wildlife, forests, ocean conditions and our own health.  Because the material is not biodegradable, the risk of animals choking on the disposed Styrofoam increases.
I hope that this petition will encourage major manufacturers of electronics to package their merchandise in recyclable material instead of the commonly used Styrofoam.  Please help me spread awareness and hopefully eliminate Styrofoam to conserve the biodiversity of our environment!

The petition will also be sent to Members of Parliment to encourage them to bring the Styrofoam Ban to British Columbia.  The ban already exists in several American cities including Seattle.
