Breakish Wind Farm Action Group - Stop the industrialisation of Breakish

Swedish Corporation, ARISE, plan to build a wind farm on the pristine peatland of the Breakish common grazings owned by Fearann Eilean Iarmain. In addition, Balfour Beatty plan to build a workers camp on the edge of the township. These two developments will forever change the landscape, cause irreparable damage to the natural environment, disrupt the lives of residents and potentially destroy the valuable tourism industry. We urge the landowners and developers to think again. These are the wrong developments in the wrong place.
