Save ninja the dog from an imprisoned child molester

Several years ago, we loaned a dear friend of ours our dog ninja to assist with his falling health. Now, that dear friend has passed, but his roommate is attempting to keep him. The catch: the roommate is in prison for child molesting. Ninja was lent to both our friend and the roommate with the condition that if both of them were physically unable to care for him, we would take him back. But now we are in a court battle for him.
