For the past month Oceanic Defense has attempted to assist Supervalu (The largest grocery chain in the USA) in the removal of shark from their sea food counters. We have provided more than enough evidence to suggest that the selling of a globally depleted species does not show reasonable responsibility of a prudent environmentally conscious company.
The Environmental Defense Fund and the IUCN lists Thresher Shark as an ECO-WORST choice due to dangerous levels of mercury and the fact that all shark species are under threat of global collapse.
To this date, Supervalu has ignored all our requests. Show them what they are doing is NOT RIGHT. Sign this petition and boycott all Supervalu and affiliate stores until sharks are removed indefinitely.
