Legalize Common Marmoset Monkeys in Pennsylvania

Please sign the following petition to allow Marmosets legal in Pennsylvania. These animals have been bred in captivity for many years and have NEVER harmed a human being. There are several private ownerships and USDA of these wonderful animals through out Pennsylvania.

Common Marmosets are New World primates. The common marmoset has a body length of about 12-15 cm, with a tail length of 29.5-35 cm. Common Marmosets are one of the most endangered callitrichid species. Why not keep the New World primates around a lot longer?

The Common marmoset is considered the best species able to adapt to human changes in their environment. They have been studied in captive settings since the 1960s. They are one of the smallest primates in the world. Marmosets are beautiful, intelligent monkeys.

After extensive research I am unsure as to why they are illegal in Pennsylvania. This is a small pet that has never killed anyone unlike the several dogs, that so many people own in the city (bulldogs, pitbulls, rotweilers, dobermens). I can own a dangerous dog capable of killing a child, but I can not own a Common Marmoset Monkey.
