Ask the IMF to write off Haiti's large debt.

The Haiti Government has an insurmountable debt to the IMF and although I know the Government itself has helped itself to a huge percentage of it, I feel that the people of Haiti should not be made to suffer even more. Write the debt off and let them start afresh. Maybe the US could even make them the 51st State.

We the undersigned,
Please, in the light of the horrendous earthquake in Haiti, can you not consider writing off the huge debt to you that they owe? This would give them the chance to start afresh. Maybe you could attach conditions to it that would make sure that the goverment would not be able to help itself to any monies or benefits it would receive from and action made by your goodselves.
