Tell Congress To Support Job Creation By Funding Solar Energy
A new study shows that solar energy can employ hundreds of thousands of Americans by 2020, creating jobs in the same way gas and coal have. The only issue standing in the way: support and funding from congress.
The study indicates that the U.S. solar industry is well on its way to becoming just as profitable and commercialized as oil, coal, natural gas, and nuclear alternatives.
However, these fuel forms continue to be federally subsidized, while solar energy lacks the necessary funding to establish itself as an industry and create jobs.
President Obama has made promise after promise regarding renewable energy initiatives--but the current congressional climate is crazy for oil, making it tough to make room for solar power. Tell congress to provide solar power subsidies to provide more jobs that work toward the sustainable future.
Dear U.S. Congress,
A huge part of President Obama's promises to the American people involved renewable energy initiatives and job creation. But, Congress is holding these promises back by continuing to shell out billions to Big Oil, while depriving solar energy of the funding it needs to become a commercial industry.
A new study conducted indicates that the U.S. solar industry could create hundreds of thousands of jobs by 2020. Renewable energy is not only environmentally sound, but it's the gateway to job creation and new enterprise.
Please enable President Obama's renewable energy initiatives, because congressional support is how industry is revolutionized, and how growing industries are subsidized.
Sincerely,
