Varsity Ridge Bowling Center, Ridge Theatre and the entire Ridge Complex at 15th & Arbutus is slated to be demolished for condominiums and retail space. Bowling in the Lower Mainland is becoming scarce and hundreds of people are being forced to quit the game they love. Varsity has 25 weekly leagues with over 700 bowlers between the ages of 3 to 99(!). Many people bowl multiple times a week, especially seniors, as a means to socialize and be active. The demolition also affcets 1000s of community members like you who bowl for fun, birthdays, fundraisers, work parties, rainy day recreation, the list goes on….Places like Varsity Ridge Bowling Centre Keep Vancouver's neighbourhoods connected. Let's not lose it!
