BAN TAMING / PROHIBICION DE

(English) "La Doma" (Taming) is a festival held in the city of Jesus Maria (Argentina) violating the rights of animals. The scenes are broadcasted on television as something traditional. We believe that cultural or traditional has nothing to do with human brutality. The festival consists of traditional folk music and a show "of taming horses" that have already been broken before. In stage suffer stress blindfolded, by the crowd, by the bells in the ear, by being beaten with whips and be driven with spurs. 
Physical punishment of animals is a fact of abuse and violence. Veterinarians use communication techniques and taming without using brutal methods. According to studies by specialists, "the horse that is abused incorporates fear, panic and negative behaviors". The horse treats behavior according to the way humans teach. 
In Argentina, the taming of horses is a fact cruel and brutal as these scenes are broadcast media such as film and television, the impact is greater because the imposed message reaches to many people. 
The Universal Declaration of Animal Rights says: 
Article 13: "The scenes of violence in which animals are the victims should be banned in movies and on TV unless they are intended to give an example of the attacks against Animal Rights". 
In Argentina the law 14346 for the Protection of Animals says: 
Article 3: "They will be considered acts of cruelty: public or prívate acts of animal fights, bull fights, novilladas (type of bull fights) and parodies, which kill, injure or hostilities to animals." 
Festivals can be done without "Taming" and without the cruel acts committed by men. Let us observe and respect the law.

(Spanish) “La Doma” es un festival que se realiza en la ciudad de Jesús María (Argentina) violando los derechos de los animales. Las escenas son difundidas por televisión como si fuera algo tradicional. Creemos que lo cultural o tradicional nada tiene que ver con la brutalidad humana. El festival consta de música tradicional del país y un "espectáculo” de doma de caballos que de hecho ya han sido domados con anterioridad; se trata de caballos mansos. En el estadio sufren estrés por vendarles los ojos, por la multitud, por los campanazos en el oído, por los golpes recibidos con azotes y por ser hincados con espuelas. 
El castigo físico hacia los animales es un hecho de maltrato y violencia. Médicos veterinarios emplean técnicas de comunicación y amansamiento sin emplear métodos brutales. Según estudios realizados por especialistas “el caballo que es maltratado incorpora miedo, pánico y conductas negativas”. El caballo asimila conductas de acuerdo a la manera como los humanos le enseñan. 
En Argentina la doma de los caballos es un hecho cruel y brutal y cuando estas escenas son difundidas en medios de comunicación, como cine y televisión, el impacto es mayor porque el mensaje llega impuesto a muchas personas. 
La Declaración Universal de los Derechos de los Animales dice: 
Artículo 13: “Las escenas de violencia en las cuales los animales son víctimas deben ser prohibidas en el cine y en la televisión salvo si ellas tienen como fin dar muestra de los atentados contra los Derechos del Animal”. 
En Argentina la ley 14346 de Protección a los Animales dice: 
Artículo 3: “Serán considerados actos de crueldad: realizar actos públicos o privados de riñas de animales, corridas de toros, novilladas y parodias, en que se mate, hiera u hostilice a los animales”. 
Los festivales se pueden hacer sin “La Doma” y sin los actos crueles que cometen los hombres. Hagamos cumplir y respetar la legislación vigente.
