Help Stop Blight in Macon-Bibb County

We the undersigned

Wish to thank the mayor and commission of Macon-Bibb County for the work that has already been done in the Lynmore Estates community, including strengthened code enforcement in the area surrounding 570 Carman Place,

Request that the Department of Economic and Community Development prioritize the demolition of the unsafe and unsalvageable structures at 564 and 578 Carman Place,

Request that the mayor, commission and ECD staff work with neighborhood residents and Habitat for Humanity to develop a comprehensive blight remediation plan for Lynmore Estates,

Request that the resulting plan be used as a model for drafting a comprehensive blight remediation plan for the entire Macon-Bibb County community.
