Health Protections for Individuals and Families in Poverty

The issue at hand is that people who live in poverty are at higher risk of certain sicknesses and they lack the proper resources and education to protect themselves against these diseases. What needs to happen is more access to the healthcare necessary as well as educating individuals about ways they can lower their risk of contracting a disease.
