All over the world, the animals are undergoing the pain of neglect, abuse, and exploitation in many forms such as factory farms, illegal wildlife trafficking, or domestic cruelty. Their helplessness makes them victims of pain and deprivation simply because there are few existing laws and little public education. As an ethical vegetarian, it is right to argue that the best public treatment strategies call for stronger animal welfare legislation, enforcement of existing laws, and, most importantly, the promotion of humane advocacy and education of the society. I call policymakers and the society to do something right away by advocating for proper punishment against animal cruelty, funding and assisting shelters and rescues and encouraging humane treatment for every living thing. It is possible to make this world a safe and a kinder place for animals.
