Demand that UK Government sentence at least 18 months minimum prison sentence for people who abuse animals!

Those poor animals, innocent, wouldn't hurt a soul. Beaten, starved. They're terrified. Do they know why? No. They're oblivious. Why is animal abuse not considered the same as domestic abuse? These animals love us unconditionally, we are their masters, their leaders. Animals need our help to grow, develop, learn.
That "scrawny little rat" of a dog who lives round the corner from you? Doesn't it bother you that that dog is suffering at the hands of a monster. That dogs life is a wasted life.
He could've been a guide dog, a sniffer dog.
If these animals owners aren't happy with taking control of responsibilities that come along with owning a pet. Why keep them?
There's a lonely person in this world right now, longing for a friend or some company, these animals could make someone so happy.
