Tell Sen. Gardner to demand that William Perry Pendley be removed from office

After months of protest, the Trump White House has been forced to withdraw the nomination of William Perry Pendley as director of the Bureau of Land Management.

That's great news, but we can't stop there. Pendley is still acting director, meaning he has control of more than one-third of America's public lands.

Pendley is a radical who has suggested all lands owned by the federal government should be "sold," and he prioritizes drilling and mining over just about everything else. He is also a climate change denier and has made a series of racist and inflammatory remarks, casting doubt on his ability to represent communities of color. Pendley remains as unfit as ever and must be removed from office entirely.
