Please stop the Short Hills deer slaughter that occurs every October and November. This hunt is very expensive, as it requires intensive police presence. The deer are not in overpopulation, nor are they starving. The hunted deer are always weighed by MNRF staff, and the majority of them are healthy. No hunting should be allowed in a park. Ban bow hunting province wide, as the animals die slowly. This Short Hills Deer hunt was brought in by the Wynne government. Perhaps the Ford government could be the ones to end this cruel and costly practice.
