Stoppt das Hundeelend in den Waeldern von Istanbul

Sehr geehrter Herr Grosstadt-Istanbul Oberbürgermeister, Kadir Topbas,

Die Stadtverwaltungen, insb. „IBB“ Istanbul Großstadtverwaltung hat auch im 21.Jahrhundert noch keine, den tuerkischen Gegebenheiten entsprechende Strategie zum Erhalt des Lebens der Straßentiere entwickeln können. Das Elend der Straßentiere ist unbeschreiblich groß.
Viele Kommunalverwaltungen haben keine Tierheime und setzen die Straßentiere in den Wäldern und unbewohnte Gebiete, um Istanbul herum, aus, anstelle ihren auferlegten, gesetzlichen Pflichten, zum Erhalt des Tierlebens, nachzukommen.
Mit der Begruendung, dass im Tierschutzgesetz keine Tierheime vorgesehen sind, entledigen sich die bestehenden Tierheime deren Hunde in die Waelder.
Wir sind damit nicht einverstanden, dass die Straßentiere durch die Kommunalverwaltungen von IBB Istanbul und anderen Gemeinden in die Wälder ausgesetzt werden, wo sie durch Hunger, Durst und Witterungsumstände zwangsläufig zum Tode verurteilt sind. Aus den, im Anhang befindlichen Fotos kann man das Ausmaß des Tierelends entnehmen.
Eine große Anzahl der Straßentiere, die entfernt von Istanbul in doerflichen Gebieten ausgesetzt sind, werden qualvoll getötet.
Im Umfeld des Rehabilitation Zentrums Tuzla, von dem Naturpark Tuzla und der Gemeinde Pendik befinden sich unter den ausgesetzten Straßentieren unkastrierte Muttertiere mit Welpen, sowie mit Ohrmarke versehene sehr kranke Hunde.
Wir verlangen von den Gemeinden, dass die Straßentiere, nach deren Rehabilitation an die Orte an denen sie aufgefunden wurden, ausgesetzt werden. Außerdem verlangen wir, dass die kranken, behinderte Hunde, sowie Muttertiere mit Welpen versorgt und behandelt werden.
Wir bitten Sie im Namen der Tiere, diese gewissenlose Umsetzung sofort zu stoppen

Stop abandoning stray animals in the forests and uninhabited areas

Even in the 21st century local governments, especially "IBB" Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has not been able to develop an appropriate strategy for preserving the lives of stray animals yet. The misery of stray animals is indescribable.

Many local governments have no shelters and abandon stray animals in the forests and uninhabited areas of Istanbuls’  suburbs although they are leagly bound preserving the life of the stray animals.

Often local governments use the excuse to have no shelter and therefor dispose stray animlas in the woods or uninhabited suburbs of Istanbul.

Furthermore they argue that there is no provison to found animal shelters in the Animal Protection Act and therefor they abandon strays into the woods.

We hihgly disagree with the atrocious act of IBB Istanbul and other local governments to abandon stray animals in the woods where they are doomed to death from hunger, thirst and weather conditions.

Please have a look at the photo of our petition which shows a died dog in the woods of Istanbul.

A large number of stray animals, which are abandoned in these rural areas will suffer and die painfully soon.

A lot of unneutered mother dogs with pups and very sick dogs with ear tags were abandoned in the area of the Rehabilitation Centre Tuzla, the Natural park of Tuzla and the parish of Pendik.

We herewith ask the local governments to release to neutered animlas at the locations where they were picked up from.

Furthermore we prompt the local governments to give medical treatment to sick, disabled, mother dogs and their puppies

We ask you to stop this unscrupulous behaviour in the name of the stray animals.
