Help the working horses of Alanya, Turkey
We demand that the horses working in tourism and trotting in the streets of Alanya are ensured humane conditions. Again during the summer of 2013 an alarming number of horses has been completely crippled, starved and kept running sick in front of the cart. Horses often trot with nails sticking through their hooves to their feet from self made "shoes". This is animal cruelty! We demand that the city of Alanya takes action. Something has to be done about the situation immediately! -Licenses for the horse owners. -To get a license the horses have to be checked regularly by a certified vet. -More information available to the tourists so that they can make the right choice.
