This petition needs the urgent support of every animal lover worldwide.

It is to stop a terrible and barbaric planned act of cruelty to healthy pets.
The Canadian government have announced domestic pets may be being seized and put to death by the police and authorities in what can only be seen as a vicious act of retaliation by the Canadian Prime Minister against Canadian citizens.
Truck drivers and their families, veterans and ordinary Canadians who stood up wanting only freedom are now being punished through the introduction of a “State of Emergency”
Canada has been accused of "government-sanctioned euthanasia" of pets after the capital city Ottawa threatened to seize and potentially euthanize animals kept by truckers and their families.
The "disgusting and callous" threat comes after Mr. Trudeau introduced a state of emergency in Canada.
Already, leading national TV stations and other media have reacted to the shameful claims of “going after animals”.
If this is allowed to happen, it would be a major step backwards for mankind.
If allowed to happen, what is to stop another government taking similar action?
The psychological effects on police and other officials forced to remove and kill animals is unreasonable. Many may have pets of their own.
The effect on children or elderly of having their healthy loving family pet removed and put to death for no reason would be a terrible experience that could never be forgotten.

Household pets are innocent and are no danger to politicians.
They don’t vote, have nothing to do with Corona issues, accept whichever mandate is imposed on their owners without question. To many they offer only companionship and love.
To every government and respective Prime minister.
The undersigned request that under no circumstances should family pets be used as political pawns now or in the future.
That no healthy animal be taken away from it’s owner and killed for a political reason
That a motion be passed that the removal and killing of a healthy pet against the owners will be deemed a criminal act, punishable with the highest possible penalty.

This petition has nothing to do with the current health situation, I am also not Canadian.
