Shylaann Socorro Silva R.I.P

15 years ago I left my son Mana and daughter Shylaann home with my boyfriend/babysitter Peter Pasigan. He called me 30 min. after I left the house and told me that Mana had pushed Shyla down the stairs. I rush home to find her not breathing and non responsive, so we rush her to Maui Memorial Hospital. The doctors took her to put a breathing tube in and then they told me that they would have to call the cops because it looks like a child abuse case. I hit the wall yelling that I would never hurt my baby. The doctor looked at Peter and said what about him?  So the doctor took me to Shyla and explained that the injuries could not have come form a fall. He told me that she had shaken baby syndrome with blood all behind her eyes,  the back of her head was smashed in and also that there were choke marks around her neck among other bruises. It was the last thing I ever expected to have to face in my life. They sent her to Queens Medical Center on Oahu right away I had gotten there before she arrived. The doctors there also told me the same thing but told me that the back of her head was so damaged that she would never recover. I sat there and watched my mom hold her as we let the angels take her. I went to back to my apartment with my lawyer and the detectives to see the "crime seen". It was so hard!! As we were looking around we noticed 3 deep cup size dents in the dry wall with Shylas hair still in it. They took photos of it so we can use it in court. We also found blood on the walls and the towel that Peter used to give her a bath before he called me to come home that night. Yup that's what I said Peter gave her a bath while she was uncontentious and then called me.  We went to court and he took a plea bargain for 30 MANDATORY years on a life sentence. Well Peter had singed up for a program they offer to inmates and the Hawaii Paroling Board has taken 15 years off of his time. When we looked at the reasoning behind the reduction of time it was blank. So I need EVERYONE who has ever wanted to make a difference to sign this and tell them that they can not take 15 years off of a MANDATORY sentence for such a horrible crime!! Post a comment letting them know how you stand with your name and location. Froward this and keep it going let every one know what our Hawaii Paroling Board is doing!! I will copy this and give it to my lawyer and they will take it in to have this reviewed.
