Gilad Shalit is an Israeli Soldier who was captured on June 25th 2006 by Palestinian militants in a cross border raid. He was abducted through the Kerem Shalom crossing in Israel and has been held hostage in the Gaza Strip by Hamas.
The Jewish Community of North America joins Gilad's parents, brother and sister in prayer for his return.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, let's not forget that Gilad, who fought for his country is suffering and rotting in Hamas prison.

Hello, this is Gilad, son of Noam and Aviva Shalit, brother of Hadas and Yoel, who lives in Mitzpe Hila. My ID number is 397029. As you can see I am holding today's Falasteen newspaper published in Gaza. I read the newspaper in order to find information about myself, and in hopes of reading about information of my return home and my imminent release.
I hope the current government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu doesn't waste this opportunity to reach an agreement and as a result, allow me to fulfill my dream and be released."
Prime Minister Netanyahu, let's not forget the prisoners can be recaptured. If the situation with Gilad Shalit continues he might not be around for another clip. Israel put your pride aside and bring our boy home.
The world has to understand that the Hamas is a terrorist organization that relates to world terror. By not doing any thing to release Gilad we are giving the terrorists a prize!
