Demand Safety for our Franklin Families Walking to School!

Monroe/Copeland is a two-way stop where drivers routinely don't look for the young kids and their parents as they cross to go to or from school. Many pedestrians cross without looking and assume it's a 4-way stop because it feels like it should be. Our students on safety patrol get cursed by angry drivers trying to reach the 805 and the issue has gotten so bad that the adult supervising keeps a tally of "near misses." Please help intervene and demand a stop sign Monroe to make it a 4 way stop BEFORE something really tragic happens. The traffic department has so far said NO so we're left with community advocacy to make this happen.
