Tell Australian Election Candidates: We Support Clean Energy and Protecting Reefs, Rivers and Wildlife

Sun and wind can power communities without polluting the air we breathe or the water we drink. It's time to shift away from dirty coal and create a brighter future – for the sake of our communities, children and future generations.

But sometimes our political representatives don't hear enough from people who care. Instead, they often listen to the dirty energy lobbyists and turn a blind eye as our environment is overused, polluted or destroyed.

Right now, people who want to represent Australia's local communities in our national Parliament are getting ready for an election. If they hear thousands of local voices now, they will realise they must speak out on these issues to win local votes.

During this time in our democracy, your voice has more impact than at any other moment.

We want representatives with vision and a plan to protect our air, water and wildlife. We expect governments to create a viable clean energy industry, with jobs for the future. It doesn't matter which political party candidates come from – they all have a duty of care.
