Whenever Trump and his ilk start spreading hateful conspiracies, death threats, bomb threats, and harassment inevitably follow. It took only a few days after Trump and JD Vance began pushing the absurd conspiracy theory that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were killing and eating house pets for his rabid fans to call in a bomb threat against the Springfield City Hall.
The Haitian community in Ohio is now living in abject fear. Haitian families are reporting their cars vandalized and are too scared to send their children to school. "I'm going to have to move because this area is no longer good for me," said one Haitian resident. "I can't even leave my house to go to Walmart. I'm anxious and scared." This is a disgraceful state of affairs — especially for JD Vance, who is Ohio's Senator.
Kick JD Vance out of the Senate!
In various interviews, JD Vance has smeared Haitian immigrants for "causing chaos all over Springfield" and claimed that "reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn't be in this country," despite there being NO evidence that these reports are anything but racist, dehumanizing nonsense.
In doing so, JD Vance has unleashed terror and harassment on his own constituents, just to score cheap political points with his racist base. This is behavior entirely unacceptable from a US Senator and he should be expelled from that body immediately.
