Impeach Trump

{The American House of Representatives has officially launched an impeachment inquiry into Trump, the first step of the impeachment process. While the road to actual impeachment and removal from office will be long, this move has gotten the ball rolling. Since Donald Trump took the oath of office as U.S. President, it's been clear that he should be impeached.

From his cozy relationship with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, to his myriad conflicts-of-interests arising from his business dealings, his thinly-veiled attempts to ban immigrants based on religion, his attacks on the 1st Amendment rights of journalists, his apparent disregard for the U.S. intelligence community, and his gross incompetence as a leader time and again in the wake of tragedies, Mr. Trump has shown that he is not only unfit but also unsafe to serve as president.

Special counsel Robert Mueller spent approximately two years investigating Trump and all of his cronies, and during that time he uncovered shocking incidence of clear corruption and misdoings. Prevented by departmental policy from actually charging Trump, a sitting president, with a crime, Mueller did the next best thing he could -- he refused to exonerate Trump, going as far as to say: "If we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that."

On top of that, Trump clearly does not have America's best interests at heart. He continues to reap massive profits from his hotels, where ambassadors and dignitaries from friendly and adversarial nations alike have stayed, in an attempt to curry favor with Trump's administration. More than 158 lawsuits have been filed against Trump since he took office, including for violating Constitutional mandates such as the emoluments clause.

We know who Donald Trump puts first: HIMSELF. He is a threat to the United States, a threat to the world, and a bigot and idiot on top of all that.
