With the resurface of rabies in Taiwan, its government has done pretty nothing to control the disease.
There's not enough vaccines at all for the strays and the wild animals in the mountains, and the government allow local units to trap and kill the strays that were already given vaccines.
Now their newest step is to take 14 healthy beagles next week to start a rabies testing, injecting rabies virus and see if they would catch it. Once they do, these pups will be "taken care of" after they're studied by the Taiwanese "experts and professionals".
However, we all know that rabies passes among warm-blooded animals,
so why do we need to let these beagles die for nothing???
We don't need killing to control rabies, vaccines are the only cures.
