Criminal Charges Against the person who neglected their mascot

Please seek criminal charges against the person who left him outside and he died of heat stroke as a result. They have fired this person, but that is not enough. They need to be charged with a criminal offense. Please sign this petition. Here is the link to his story:

Dear Patrick Sexton and Louisiana Tech,
You must charge this person with criminal neglect. Firing the individual is not enough. A poor, beautiful and sweet animal died from their irresponsibility. We will not accept losing their job as sufficient punishment. This person should never be allowed to work with children and animals again. Please prosecute the person responsible for this tragedy.
