To make the Olympic Committee fulfil the Children's Promise

In December 2004 the committee in charge of the bid for the LOndon 2012 Olympics made a promise that all children born in Britain on the 20/12/04 would play a role in  the opening/closing ceremonies or team meeting ceremonies in the Capital, they have of April 2011 proposed to change this promise to an event local to each child.  Over the years this has been explained to the children as being a very special honour to be asked to partake in. I wish to make this petition in the hope that the Olympic Committee will reconsider the proposed event they are considering for the children. By doing this allowing the children, who were chosen by the Olympic Committee to experience what they were promised on the 20th December 2004.
