Establish an United Nations Agency Dedicated to Animal Welfare.

Whereas animals have been cruelly tortured and slaughtered by human beings all over the world since the beginning of time,

and whereas the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations passed the Universal Declaration of Animal Welfare (UDAW] in 2009 to protect the rights and welfare of animals.

Therefore, we the undersigned request that the United Nations establish an agency that enforces the UDAW and protects the rights and welfare of animals throughout the globe.
