Trump's attorneys are claiming that 30 different entities have refused to back a bond for the sum. Is it any wonder that the guy who famously doesn't pay his bills can't get someone to lend him money?
Trump is trying to appeal the decision, asking the court to pause the $454 million judgment or accept only a $100 million bond. No way! Anyone else in this position would be forced to pay, and to sell assets to get the money, and Trump should not get special treatment.
Trump has boasted of his wealth for decades and it's time for him to pay up. If he doesn't have the cash, the courts can and should start freezing his bank accounts and seizing his properties.
