JUSTICE FOR HEART, LOST OLD ENGLISH SHEEP DOG EATEN & RETURNED AS DOG MEAT BY LOCAL RESIDENTS

This horrible incident happened in Iksan, Jeonbuk, South Korea.
 
"Heart" is an Old Englsih Sheep Dog , about 10yrs old.He's very affectionate and full of love and even somewhat shy. 

This beyond horrible case had happened in Iksan City, Jeonbuk, South Korea on Sept. 26th, 2016.

It was late night and while his owner cleaning around the house then she heard a loud slam sound out of blue. And because of this loud slam sound, “Heart” was frightened and ran straight out the door. His owner immediately followed after “Heart” but he was nowhere to be found that night. And sadly, that was the last time she saw her dog "Heart".

With the hope of finding "Heart", his owner spread out the words and millions of flyers and put a banner up to find Heart.  But after two days, she found out that her dog "Heart" was slaughtered and eaten by some of local people. 

After this terrible incident, there were tons of people posting online,sign up online petition, pleading with police officers in Iksan to punish and bring justice to the suspects. It also was aired in local news, and nationwide public Korean TV networks as SBS, KBS, MBC, and the documentary TV show named “ Real story Noon”. With high demands of voices requesting punishment and justice these suspects are claiming that the dog they ate was already dead. but the evidence on the video cam, along with witness showed the dog was clearly alive conscious and growling at the strangers. However, the suspects still testified that they got him 10mins after Heart died and they're just after his dead body (to get dog meat).

According to the vet scientist, ATP in the muscle of the carcass will not be rigor mortis within an hour after the dog dies. And only small purple spots with slowly begin to appear. Between 2-3 hours, only the lower jaw called temporomandibular joint and the neck, rigor mortis will slowly begin. 

Heart was clearly alive and healthy 2hrs ago when he captured by these perpetrators who claimed that Heart’s body got stiff and the suspects moved him to the community center in there village, but this story just don't makes any sense at all and its one sided story from the suspect’s perspective.

The reason why these suspects are claiming that the dog was dead is because in south Korea, barely there's no animal welfare and the animal law doesn’t protect animals from cruelty and slaughtering. Dogs and cats and most of pets are considered as personal properties and in this case, only punishment they’ll get is very weak maybe just a minor penalty. And they knew all of this and they’re going to use the advantage.

According to all this circumstances we're sure that they grabbed "Heart"- this innocent and beautiful Old English Sheep dog- and burnt him, slaughtered and cut him into 4 pieces and claimed that they don't eat dog meats. He doesn’t deserve to die like this. (Only one of his front leg returned to his owner after all)  And again, South Korean animal law are not strict enough to bring justice to these suspects for slaughtering an innocent animal in public place.

We need let the whole world know that what they did was beyond in humane and wrong in order to bring justice to these perpetrators. We are pleading to help bring justice for the sake of "Heart" and his owner and again, he did not deserve to die.

This case is still under investigation in South Korea yet not much progress.
