Clearly, this industry that breeds horses by the thousands but send so many to their deaths is only after money. The cycle continues because the tragedy behind racing has been well hidden from the public, and because people keep supporting it by going to races.
Let's take a stand against the cruel horse racing industry! Tell the Australian Racing Board that you won't be betting on horse races while young, healthy horses are killed by the thousands each year.
Dear Australian Racing Board,
It's wrong that the horse racing industry breeds horses by the thousand, but sends those who are deemed two slow, injured, or not profitable enough to their deaths. You should care for all the horses you breed -- not just the ones who win the most.
I won't be betting on Australian horse races while young, healthy horses are needlessly killed!
