Once again, families in America are mourning their dead children as a killer once again uses a high-powered assault rifle to slaughter children en masse at their school. Seven people are dead and another school full of children are traumatized for life by a shooter.
The massacre in Nashville is the 129th mass shooting in the United States so far this year, which is as horrifying as it is unacceptable.

It hasn't even been a full day and the GOP is already blaming side doors, mental illness, and transgenderism for the killings in Nashville — anything to admit that it's the exact same gun, the AR-15, being used over and over and over again to slaughter innocents en masse.
It's clear that most of the GOP has given up entirely on doing anything about this endless bloodshed. But Kevin McCarthy, as the leader of the House GOP, has the power to bring the Democrats' common sense gun reforms up for a vote and could actually DO something to stop the killing of our children.
