End Brutal, 'Experimental' Sterilization of Mustang Mares by the BLM

The BLM has approved and is already carrying out it's brutal and inhumane sterilization program of wild mustang mares. It consists of cutting a hole in the side of the mare's uterus and manually, through the vagina entrance, cutting the ovaries with a chain. (See link)

This procedure is carrying out in a non-sterile environment with no follow up care.
One horse and four burros of the six animals that have endured this brutal proceedure have already died.

Pregnant mares and foal of six months of age are being subjected to this horrific treatment.

This procedure is being carried out, 'experimentally', in the name of population control.
It is completely unnecessary as there is a birth control dart already in use by other agencies. In addition, no consideration of gelding the stallions as been addressed.
